Do you ever feel like your life is just one giant transition?  No? Uh..Me neither…
Throughout this past season I have been learning to be unsettled without being unsatisfied or unstable.  I think this alone can make or break a persons effectiveness and there is definitely a balance to be learned. Flexibility is key when you’re listening to and following the will of God but at the same time we must remain unmovable in conviction and in our relationship with Him. Looking back too far can paralyze us and looking forward too far can cause anxiety. I think that’s why Jesus told us not to worry about tomorrow…he knows things about life.

Even more than learning balance is the practice of constantly turning our face, desires, ambitions, and motives to our Father who is the only one who knows what to do with them anyway!

God has been speaking to me over the weekend with these verses. I pray that if you are also in a place of “not knowing” that you would find peace in His words today.

“Trust in the Lord and do good; Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord; and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him and He will do it. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light and your judgment as the noonday. Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him.”
-Psalm 37:3-7

You know what I love about this?
Specifically though, I love that He doesn’t command all these outrageous acts and crazy amounts of faith or actions….what does He command?
What does He promise in return? That HE will be the one to “give” and “do”.

I find so much peace and comfort in these verses. In a world that says “do, give, and decide” God says “trust, dwell, delight”.
In some seasons we need to be reminded to go, do and obey, but others we just need to be told to take a pause and let God fight for us, direct us, and refresh us.

Love you all!
